The members of NCT DREAM, Lee Je-no and Na Jae-minmay well be adding a new string to their bow: that of lead actor. According to several Korean media reports, the 2 idols are in talks to play the lead roles in the upcoming sports and initiation drama "Wind Up".

The agency SM Entertainment confirmed that it had received the offer, but added that "nothing has been decided yet, as both artists are currently examining the proposal".
Wind Up will tell the story of a mysterious transfer student who upsets the balance of a high school baseball team. The project will be signed by Kim Sung-hoa director renowned for such diverse works as Bad Prosecutor, Move to Heaven and How to Steal a Dog. The series will take the form of a short content and start shooting very soon. Details of the full cast, broadcast platform and release date have yet to be confirmed.
For Lee Je-no, This would be his first real acting experience, after brief cameo appearances in the 2006 film Love Me Not and the successful webdrama A-Teen. Na Jae-minwould be making his return to the screen after an absence of almost 7 years, his last role being in 2019's How to Hate You.
Alongside these acting projects, NCT DREAM remains active on the music scene. The band recently made a comeback in July with their fifth studio album, Go Back To The Future, featuring two chart-topping tracks: CHILLER and BTTF.
If the participation of the two idols is confirmed, Wind Up marked a turning point in their careers, propelling them into the world of K-dramas beyond their immense musical success.
