Two years after the end of season 2, the Taxi Driver got together for a script reading highly anticipated. The hit SBS drama, adapted from a webtoon, tells the story of a mysterious cab company that brings justice to those forgotten by the law. And for this 3rd season, the promise is clear: more action, more emotion, and a closer-knit team than ever.
At this first reading, director Kang Bo-seung and screenwriter Oh Sang-ho reunited with the main cast, including Lee Je-hoon, Pyo Ye-jin, Kim Eui-sung, Jang Hyuk-jin and Bae Yoo-ram. The warm, enthusiastic atmosphere quickly revived the complicity that characterizes the series. The actors, clearly delighted to be back together, immediately found their rhythm, mixing intensity and naturalness in their dialogues.
A new, more ambitious season
This session featured an original format: the actors read their lines while observing the storyboards drawn by the director himself. This enhanced immersion and made it easier to grasp the director's vision, in particular the action scenes and revenge thrills that made the series such a success. There's every reason to believe that Taxi Driver 3 will be even more spectacular, with more extensive staging and heightened dramatic tension.
Lee Je-hoon, faithful interpreter of the vigilante Kim Do-gi, shared his enthusiasm: "I'm grateful and happy to be part of season 3. Our team is like a family. We're preparing an even more intense story than the previous ones, and I'm working on new facets of the character. I can't wait for the public to discover all we've prepared."
Fans won't have long to wait: Taxi Driver 3 will make its debut on November 21, 2025 (awaiting international distribution). And given this energetic reading, the return of the famous cab of justice promises to be explosive.
