Netflix has lifted the veil on « Dead-End Job« one of 2026's most intriguing upcoming dramas. Presented at the Next on Netflix 2026 Korea, The project promises a dark mix of mystery, horror and fantasy, featuring Lee Jae-wook in a radically anxiety-inducing role.
An extraordinary salary, a descent into hell
Dead-End Job follows Hyuk-jun, a debt-ridden young man, who accepts a job offer that's as enticing as it is strange. An unknown recruitment agency, the Spyder Human Resource Center, The company promises perfectly adapted jobs... at 50 times the normal salary. An opportunity impossible to refuse, especially for someone on the verge of collapse.

But soon, what seemed like a miracle solution turns to horror. Disturbing events, absurd rules and an oppressive atmosphere turn the workplace into a nightmare. Hyuk-jun realizes that leaving this job could be far more difficult (and dangerous) than he imagined.
Lee Jae-wook in a high-voltage role
In the first images unveiled, Lee Jae-wook embodies an increasingly disoriented character, trapped in a system that is beyond him. His worried gaze and on-the-edge attitude convey the anguish of a man confronted with an environment where logic seems to have vanished. The drama plays on psychological fear as much as on a thinly veiled social critique of the world of work and its toxic promises.

With Dead-End Job, Netflix further enriches its catalog of ambitious Korean thrillers, betting on a disturbing narrative and a gradual build-up of tension.
