KBS2 has unveiled a new series of posters for its upcoming romantic drama Last Summerimmersing fans in a bittersweet atmosphere of childhood memories, first loves and summer reunions. Carried by a trio of highly anticipated actors: Lee Jae-wook, Choi Sung-eun and Kim Gun-woo, this series promises a cocktail of emotions and nostalgia.
A childhood love resurfaces
Last Summer tells the story of 2 childhood friends, linked for 17 years, who come face to face with a long-buried truth, like a secret locked in Pandora's famous box. Baek Do-ha, played by Lee Jae-wook, is a talented architect with warm eyes and quiet charm. On one of the unveiled posters, he appears relaxed, dressed in a light-colored shirt and glasses, with a gleam of determination in his eyes. His phrase, "Even if you hate me, I'm going to love you this summer", announces his deepest feelings and his intention not to hide them any longer.

Opposite him, Song Ha-kyung, played by Choi Sung-eun, is a respected government architect nicknamed "Dr. Song". Her tender gaze and discreet smile evoke a certain melancholy gentleness. She poses with her chin resting on her hand, as if dreaming of a bygone past. "My summer is always the season when guests come to visit", she says, a phrase that echoes the return of Do Ha, who now lives in the United States and only returns to Korea for 3 short weeks each summer.

A third man, emotional tension
But there's more to the story than a romance suspended in time. Another character adds an intriguing dimension to the story: Seo Soo-hyuk, played by Kim Gun-woo. A feared lawyer with an impressive success rate, he appears in another visual, with a frank look in his impeccable suit, documents in hand. His message, "If you stay with me, you can continue to be the Song Ha-kyung you are today", hints at a complex dynamic, even a love triangle where past and present choices could turn everything upside down.

Scheduled for broadcast from November 1 at 9:20pm (KST)With confirmation from the series' official account of a relay on Viki, Last Summer promises to be a mature and contemplative romance, where regrets, unspoken words and reunions mingle with the slow but intense rhythm of a summer like no other.
