Lee Hye-riactress seen this year in Friendly Rivalry (Netflix), is in negotiations to play opposite Hwang In-yeop in a romantic comedy entitled Dreaming of You.
According to the Korean media on July 24, Lee Hye-ri has reportedly been approached to take over the female lead role originally offered to Lee You-mi.who declined the offer. If she accepts, she will share the bill with Hwang In-yeop, marking their first official collaboration in a drama (although the two have already shown great chemistry in an episode of Hyeri's Hyell Club on YouTube, in 2024, where he came to promote Family by choice).
A romance of dreams and disillusionment
Dreaming of You will tell the story of 2 thirty-somethings, both facing the setbacks of adulthood after having pursued their dreams in their youth. Lee Hye-ri will play Lee Jaea passionate journalist in her youth, but caught up in the harsh realities of her twenties. As for Hwang In -youphe should perform Woo Su-bina successful filmmaker who broke free from a rigid family framework to forge his own path.

Thanks to this performance, she has won over a wide audience, particularly in China, and was recently honored at the Blue Dragon Series Awardswhere she won the popular star award.
This year also marks a high point for the artist, who celebrates 15 years in the business since her debut with Girls' Day in 2010. She has embarked on a fanmeeting tour to celebrate the anniversary with fans around the world.
