Netflix unveils new stills from « Cashero«featuring members of the Association of Criminals and, more specifically, two antagonists who will stop at nothing to seize the heroes' powers. Adapted from a hit webtoon, the series follows Kang Sang-ung (Lee Junho), an ordinary civil servant whose strength increases in proportion to the amount of cash he has... to the point where he empties his wallet to save the world.
Jonathan, an innocent face for boundless ambition
Images dedicated to Jonathan (Lee Chae-min), the youngest son of the president of the Criminals Association, reveals a multifaceted character. Dressed simply, he gives off an almost harmless gentleness at first glance. However, his inscrutable expression makes his intentions difficult to discern.
Other photos reveal a cold, sharp gaze, hinting at a powerful desire to steal the heroes' superpowers. Jonathan is portrayed as an individual without hesitation or remorse, willing to threaten and manipulate to get what he wants, concealing relentless cruelty behind a calm and mysterious mask.
Joanna, the arrogant heiress facing an unexpected rival
At his side, Joanna (Kang Han-na), Jonathan's older sister and the president's eldest daughter, immediately commands attention. Her impeccable style and unwavering confidence reflect the aura of an heiress who has never doubted her legitimacy. Raised in luxury and power, she is authoritarian, arrogant, and unconcerned with others.
However, a moment of surprise captured in one of the images suggests that an unexpected obstacle could slow down his quest for heroic powers.
United by a common goal (to seize the powers of superheroes), Jonathan and Joanna move forward together, while engaging in a silent rivalry to become the successor of the organization. This sibling rivalry adds extra tension to a story already dominated by ambition and thirst for power. A duo of actors we are also delighted to see again after watching them on screen this summer in 2025 in «Bon appétit, your majesty.».
Cashero will be available starting on December 26 on Netflix.
