KBS2 has just unveiled the poster for its next romantic drama, Last Summerand it already has that nostalgic fragrance that hooks the heart. Carried by Lee Jae-wook and Choi Sung-eunthe new series announced for November promises to be as sweet as it is painful, like a memory we thought we'd forgotten.
The story follows Baek Do-haa talented architect, and Song Ha-kyunga reserved civil servant. The 2 grew up together, neighbors in a semi-detached house built by their respective fathers. Shared summers, childhood complicity... and feelings never confessed. But everything changes the day Do Ha's parents divorce. He leaves Korea for the United States with his mother, returning for only 3 short weeks each summer.
Ha Kyung, scarred by his departure, has never found the courage to tell him how she feels. However, an event as unexpected as it is decisive will change their relationship forever. And what was thought to belong to the past will resurface, like a Pandora's box ajar.
First poster unveiled
The unveiled poster captures the mood of this emotional drama with finesse. It shows Lee Jae-wook and Choi Sung-eun face each other in a summer setting, surrounded by greenery. Their gazes, at once tender and tense, convey the ambivalence of an old love, never quite extinguished. Last Summer's handwritten logo adds a touch of intimacy, like a note left in a vacation diary.

Note that Lee Jae-wook will also play the role of Do Ha's twin brother.adding an extra dimension to the story.
On the production side, we're promising an edgy series, perfect for warming hearts as winter approaches. "We wanted to capture the emotion of those 21 summer days stolen from time, and the silent waiting that follows," explains the team. "The complicity between Lee Jae-wook and Choi Sung-eun makes this bond even more poignant."
