The new drama Dear X continues to reveal itself with a striking poster highlighting the tension between its 3 main protagonists. Inspired by a webtoon, the series follows Baek Ah-jin, played by Kim Yoo-jung, an A-list actress desperate to climb the show-business ladder. Behind her perfect smile, she conceals a cruel and manipulative nature, leaving in her wake those she has used to rise to fame.
An intense new poster
The new poster, revealed on October 22, captures all the intensity of this complex relationship. In the center, Baek Ah-jin, wearing a red dress, stares at the ground with an icy gaze. Behind her, Yoon Joon-seo (Kim Young-dae) seems to be protecting her, while Kim Jae-oh (Kim Do-hoon) surrenders into her arms. The contrast between these 2 male figures expresses the protagonist's duality: desired, feared and destructive all at once. The phrase on the poster, "My Dear X who gloriously falls apart", foreshadows a tragic descent for all 3 characters.
Kim Yoo-jung shared Baek Ah-jin and Yoon Joon-seo can be described as a bond frozen in time. They meet young and, even as adults, they continue to live as children, as if time has stood still, missing the moment when they should have drifted apart. Watch closely to see what effect they will have on each other and what form their relationship will take."
