In recent days, there have been many twists and turns in the Kim Soo-hyun case. According to Kho Sang-rock, Kim Soo-hyun's legal representative, The results of the investigation and forensics analysis (of AI material and fake Kakaotalk supplied by the family and Garosero earlier this year) should be out this month, The pressure is mounting on Kim Sae-ron's family, who seem ready to do anything to turn the tide of public opinion (which they believe has been manipulated by the actor's lawyer for the past month and a half), and continue to attack via the press, now continually attacking Kim Soo-hyun's lawyer and fans (accusing them of trying to move the police investigation forward too quickly), without responding to the substance of the case.

SBS communicates about the program that was not broadcast

Let's go back a month: Kho Sang Rock, Kim Soo-hyun's lawyer, announced that a TV channel had contacted him to do an interview about the affair surrounding the actor, but also that Kim Sae-ron's family lawyer, who had so far remained silent, had also spoken out, with new elements to back up the family's accusations since the beginning of the year. On learning of this, the actor asked for a right of reply, and since then, the channel, having found the subject too sensitive, has decided to suspend the broadcast of the show.

The South Korean channel SBS denied any "cancellation" of the show Curious Stories Y devoted to Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun, claiming that it was just one of many reports and that broadcasting had been suspended due to "ambiguous passages that were impossible to show".

On his side, Bu Ji-seoka lawyer for Kim Sae-ron's family, claims that the broadcast was stopped after he provided evidence of a relationship between the actor and the deceased when she was a minor, contrary to the network's official version. He also accuses Kim Soo-hyun's lawyer, Kho Sang-rokfor lobbying to prevent the broadcast.

Kho Sang-rok rejects these accusations, denouncing an "attack on the messenger" and claiming that the channel had merely postponed the broadcast. He says he simply asked for his arguments to be aired fairly, and assures us that he alerted the media to avoid any further manipulation and harm to his client.

Koh Sang-rock reiterates: first answer the 5 points about the case

In communication via a post YouTubeKim Soo-hyun's lawyer, Kho Sang-rock, reiterates what he has been saying for several days, and asks Kim Sae-ron's family to respond to 5 key points: "It seems that lawyer Bu Ji-seok has now chosen to focus solely on attacks on the messengerHe's completely missing the point. If he was going to publish 3 press releases in one week, he should stop these media operations consisting in repeating secondary arguments to confuse the substance of the case, and first answer clearly the five essential questions I've been asking since the beginning:

A. Is it true that the family has never maintained or claimed that "the deceased died because of the suffering caused by actor Kim Soo-hyun"?

B. Is it true that the family never claimed that the photos made public by Gase-yeon taken when the deceased was a minor?

Announcements

C. Is it true that the "thousands of photos purporting to prove a relationship during the deceased's minority before the summer of 2019", put forward by Gase-yeonthat they don't exist, and that they're just one-sided assertions with no basis in fact?

D. Is it true that, regarding the KakaoTalk message of June 2016 ("When can I sleep in your arms?"), the name of the sender is "unknown" and that the only basis for asserting that it would be the actor rests exclusively on the words of the deceased's brother?

E. Is it correct that the KakaoTalk message of April 13, 2018 ("If you don't try harder, I won't see you") exists only as a truncated capture, and that it is impossible to identify its author with this document alone, even to know whether it is the deceased?"

He also revealed in his YouTube post the exchanges he had had with the channel:

"Regarding the TV interview mentioned today by attorney Bu Ji-seok (around November 10-12, 2025), given the repeated behavior of the family and Gase-yeon since March, there was a high risk that they would again broadcast elements with no real link to the actor in order to manipulate public opinion.

That's why, driven by deep concern, I've launched a call for vigilance aimed at the public and the media, to prevent any new offenses and any form of secondary victimization.

However, exactly as I feared, a few days after my warning, they did indeed implement a "season 2" of Gase-yeon.

As a result, a new press release aimed at diverting the debate was issued without clarifying the essential points, and dozens of articles were published unchanged.
But unlike last March, there was no outpouring of sympathy for the family.
Since then, the attacks have resumed against me, in the form of a new attack strategy against the messenger, with a second and then a third release today.

Announcements

While I acted solely to prevent further crimes and protect a client already pushed to the brink of despair by cyber-violence, lawyer Bu Ji-seok accuses me falsely, giving the impression that I acted not to defend my client but to protect my own career, thus portraying me as someone who unfairly pressured the media.

"I have neither the power to block a television broadcast, nor have I attempted to do so."

I was simply informed by the channel of a postponement of the broadcast, and on the contrary I declared:
"As long as the counter-argument is properly presented, I'm fine with it."

I am therefore making public, to the strict extent necessary, certain parts of my conversations with the PD on November 11 and those with the scriptwriter the following day, concerning the points that Master Bu Ji-seok misrepresented in his statements."

So here are the telephone exchanges he transcribed (and says he's ready to broadcast in audio if need be):

Extracts from telephone exchanges

"November 11, 2025 - 7:28pm - Conversation with the PD

PD (09:21) : By doing this kind of interview and airing it all simultaneously, I'm thinking about pushing the show back. I want to push it back, I really do.

PD (09:40) :But if we broadcast everything together, it's their version of events... and we can't not present it.

Ko Sang-rok (09:46) :In that case, we will also give our explanation. This message was not about actor Kim Soo-hyun. There was no such relationship. If we make this clear, then the problem is solved.

Announcements

PD (10:05) : Yes, but you know that television is different...

PD (10:22) : If we air the show, I'll invite you to explain your side of the story.

Ko Sang-rok (10:28) : In that case, I'm reassured. They say our press release is a lie... when it's extremely important.

November 12, 2025 - 5:25pm - Conversation with the scriptwriter : I've been informed that the show has been postponed.

Announcements

Ko Sang-rok (03:51) I understand that. But since they asked for their position to be made public, we couldn't remain silent.
From what the PD told me yesterday, I refused to receive the documents provided by Bu Ji-seok.
I've learned that he has nevertheless detailed their claims.

Ko Sang-rok (04:18) I therefore indicated that I would pass on our reply to you.

Ko Sang-rok (04:23) I also met Kim Soo-hyun at length. I have already published our position.

Announcements

Ko Sang-rok (10:22) I was surprised that they finally agreed to an interview after remaining silent for so long.

Ko Sang-rok (10:37) So far, so good, Gase-yeon and Bu Ji-seok weren't saying anything, and no civil action was underway. I trusted the agency and the actor, and for over a month and a half I've been exposing the truth publicly. Then all of a sudden, they're releasing material, the screenwriter calls me up and says I've got to see it.

Ko Sang-rok (11:21) : Everything could be explained. I saw Kim Soo-hyun again that evening. It's not the kind of thing he would have sent. Every accusation could be refuted.

Ko Sang-rok (11:35) This business about online letters... it's not military correspondence. Nonsense. My conviction remains unshaken.

Announcements

(intermediate content omitted)

Ko Sang-rok (13:37) : They let go Gase-yeon because now they sense that the business is about to go bad.

Ko Sang-rok (14:00) Bu Ji-seok and Kim Se-ui are now separated.

Ko Sang-rok (14:10) My personal target is Kim Se-ui. As for the family, they'll have to take responsibility for their actions.

Announcements

Ko Sang-rok (14:24 : It seems that the autopsy results are already in.
They can't reveal them in advance, but I think they'll be out sooner than you think.

A public timeline of real boyfriends

On the fans' side, with new elements revealed by the family last week, more elements have been put together, including the name of the idol who would have actually been behind the Kakaotalk attributed by the family to Kim soo-hyun to accuse him of dating the actress as a minor.

For this "he-whose-name-shall-not-be-pronounced-as-a-journalist" idol, well known at the time for his setbacks, everything seems to add up. Apparently, by 2018, it was common knowledge in the entertainment world (between agencies and celebrities) that Kim Sae-ron and this man were a couple.

But it seems there's an embargo in South Korea on the names of Kim Sae-ron's real boyfriends who dated her between 2016 and 2019, to whom the family-manipulated Kakaotalk and Garosero can really be attributed. No Korean media is speaking out on this. Today, only social networks provide information on the subject. Does this case really only concern Kim Soo-hyun? Why focus only on him among all the other boyfriends the deceased had?

It seems that December is finally the month of truth. To be continued.
