Kim So-yeon could soon be making her return to the small screen. The actress is currently in talks to join the cast of the new drama “Rediscovery of Love”.
On April 7, its agency J,WIDE COMPANY confirmed the information, stating that it was «positively examining the offer».
An evolving project
Originally entitled “Rediscovery of Divorce”, the drama recently changed its name to “Rediscovery of Love”, hinting at a more relationship- and emotion-focused direction.
The series is currently being prepared by JTBC, with broadcasting planned for September. A representative of the channel said, «We are currently discussing the broadcast schedule.»
A long-awaited comeback for Kim So-yeon
If she accepts the role, Kim So-yeon will mark his return to JTBC some 2 years after his last project with the channel.
Known for her outstanding performances in dramas such as “Prosecutor Princess”, “Falling for Innocence” and “I Need Romance 3”, the actress also impressed audiences with her evolution in the series “The Penthouse”.
More recently, she won acclaim for her role in “A Virtuous Business” in 2024, once again confirming her ability to embody complex, nuanced characters.
