The actress Kim So-hyun could soon return to the small screen in a new drama entitled Romance Expert.
A project by Ahn Pan-seok, master of Korean melodrama
According to several South Korean media, Kim So-hyun has received an offer for the female lead in the next drama from Ahn Pan-seok, the successful director behind "Something in the Rain", "One Spring Night" and "The Midnight Romance in Hagwon". Her agency, PEACHY Company, confirmed on November 3 that the actress is "currently reviewing the offer".
A story of love and reconstruction
Romance Expert will tell the story of the encounter between a former swimmer who lost a leg to an illness and a young woman who, after giving up her career as a doctor, finds new meaning in her life through research. The script explores resilience, healing and redefining oneself through love.
Kim So-hyun will play Im Yoo-jinA student on the verge of graduating with a degree in textiles and clothing, her life is turned upside down after an incident that causes her to fail her entrance exam to doctoral school. Fascinated by robotics, she decides to return to her studies in mechanical engineering, where her destiny crosses that of the hero.
The drama is being prepared for ENAand discussions are still ongoing.
