The new Netflix drama « Can This Love Be Translated? »continues to lift the veil on the budding relationship between Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung, with a series of new shots revealing their evolution away from the usual sets.

A multilingual interpreter with a rigorous personality, Ju Ho-jin accompanies rising star Cha Mu-hee on his shoots abroad. In these images, we discover Ho-jin immersed in foreign bookshops, silent in the face of grandiose landscapes, revealing emotions that he is losing control of. Used to translating words with precision, he now seems overwhelmed by what he's feeling.

For her part, Mu-hee, catapulted to world stardom almost overnight, oscillates between professional concentration and moments of doubt. One shoot follows another, but it's above all the time spent at Ho-jin's side that draws her into an unexpected emotional storm.

A journey through the world... and feelings
From Japan to Canada, via Italy, the drama follows its characters on the fictional set of Romantic Trip. These business trips gradually become the stage for a growing intimacy. Exchanged smiles, lingering glances, meaningful silences: each country seems to bring Ho-jin and Mu-hee closer together, while revealing their weaknesses.

But this closeness is not without tension. Some of the darker images show them separated by misunderstanding, notably during night scenes in the city, foreshadowing future conflicts. Added to this is the presence of Hiro, played by Sōta Fukushi, The first of these, seen holding Mu-hee on a red carpet, suggests that he could well become an unpredictable variable in this already fragile sentimental equation.

They are joined by the project's director, Shin Ji-seon, and Mu-hee's manager, Kim Yong-woo, reinforcing the idea that this romance is played out as much in the spotlight as behind the scenes.

Can This Love Be Translated? will be available in full on January 16 on Netflix, promising a bittersweet romance, where translating feelings could prove far more complex than translating languages.
