Earlier this week, a media outlet had claimed that Kim Seon-ho ran a family production company and suggested that he might have engaged in tax avoidance practices through this structure. At the time, Fantagio had already denied these accusations, stating that there were no problems linked to the exclusivity contract or to the actor's activities. We would like to provide additional factual information and our position on Kim Seon-ho's one-man company, recently mentioned in the media.
Company formation and operation
Kim Seon-ho set up a company in January 2024 to manage his acting activities and theatrical production projects. From the creation of this company in January 2024 until the signing of his new contract with Fantagio in February 2025, payments relating to his activities during this period were received through this company.
Suspension of company activities
After realizing that simply running the company could lead to misunderstandings, Kim Seon-ho decided to suspend operations. For over a year, there has been virtually no concrete activity through the company.
Contract with Fantagio
From the date of signing of the exclusive contract between Fantagio and Kim Seon-ho in February 2025 until today, all payments have been made directly to the actor as an individual. Company closure procedures
