MBC has unveiled the first images of its new historical fantasy drama Moon River, scheduled for release on October 31. This project, combining romance, destiny and a touch of magic, places Kim Se-jeong in a colorful role that promises to seduce viewers.

A lively, resourceful heroine
In this plot, fate unites a crown prince who has lost his smile and a young woman with amnesia whose soul is mysteriously exchanged with his own. It's against this backdrop that we meet Park Dal-yi, played by Kim Se-jeong.
Dal-yi is a quick-witted merchant with a real talent for business. She captivates customers with her charm, her mischievous sense of humor, and a sense of repartee that turns every exchange into a show. But behind her dazzling smile lies a dark side: a partially erased memory, which she makes up for with an uncommon ability to adapt. An indefatigable wanderer, she travels the roads with a bundle of belongings larger than herself, always ready to use her ingenuity to survive.

Kim Se-jeong doesn't just play a simple shop assistant: her character disguises herself, changes her appearance and plays with codes to win her customers' trust. Sometimes an elegant woman, sometimes a man with a beard and glasses, Park Dal-yi multiplies her faces and establishes herself as a figure as funny as she is endearing.

With this role, Kim Se-jeong returns to the historical register with a modern, sparkling energy. Moon River promises to be a singular journey through magic, romance and the quest for identity, where Dal-yi's every smile may conceal more than meets the eye.
As usual, we'll keep you posted on a potential international distributor.
