Netflix is preparing a new romantic comedy entitled «Messily Ever After» (working title) and has just unveiled a preview of the first script reading. The film features a couple who have been together for 10 years, torn between intense love and explosive conflict.
The story follows Su-hyun and Hyun-tae, who meet by chance on the campus of an arts university and fall in love at first sight. Their relationship begins with unbridled passion... and loses none of its intensity, even a decade later. They love each other deeply, but quarrel just as violently, multiplying chaotic situations «in the name of love».

A long-lasting romance of passion and chaos
The film promises to depict a realistic, unfiltered relationship, where emotions are raw and sometimes contradictory. Through the tone of a romantic comedy, it explores those passionate love stories that many have lived (or dreamed of living) at least once.
Kim Min-ha plays Su-hyun, a talented curator and perfectionist in her work. But when it comes to love and jealousy, she reveals a more fragile and unpredictable side.
Opposite her, Noh Sang-hyun plays Hyun-tae, an installation artist. Convinced and stubborn, he shares with Su-hyun a relationship built on ten years of ups and downs.

A reunion after Pachinko
The 2 actors reunite after a poignant romance in the «Pachinko» series. This time, they play a long-standing couple capable of understanding each other at a glance, but also of clashing with equal intensity.
Directed by Seo Jung-min, this project marks a promising new collaboration for the two actors.
Further information on the film's release will be revealed shortly.
