tvN is preparing a new romantic comedy full of humor and misunderstandings with its drama Why Don't You Know I'm a Woman?inspired by a webtoon and a best-selling novel. And surprise: Kim Jung-hyun joins Yim Si-wan to the main cast, promising unexpected chemistry and a striking male duo.
An office comedy of friendship, secrets and cross-dressing
According to an Edaily article published on November 11, Kim Jung-hyun will play the male lead in this series scheduled for 2026. The actor will play Kim Si-hyeona lawyer in the Samkang Group's legal department. This calm, thoughtful character will find himself immersed in a story of friendship, romance and hidden identity.
The drama will tell the story of Yoon Yi-joon (Yim Si-wan), heir to a powerful Korean conglomerate and prime suspect in the murder of his secretary, and Kang Jae-hee (Seol In-ah), a former special forces policewoman nicknamed "Living Human Weapon" for her exceptional strength and skills. Kim Jung-hyun will play Yi-joon's close friend and lawyer, ready to do anything to defend him, even in the most absurd situations.
A fine career and a new challenge for Kim Jung-hyun
Revealed on the silver screen in 2015 with Overman, Kim Jung-hyun has quickly established himself as one of the most popular faces in Kdramas.
