The next weekend drama « Recipe for Love »has unveiled new images highlighting Kim Hyung-mook and So Yi-hyun, whose characters form a couple as elegant as they are enigmatic. Behind their controlled smiles, their union seems above all guided by well-calculated interests.

Family drama focusing on reconciliation, Recipe for Love tells the story of 2 families bound by a 30-year-old grudge. As the misunderstandings fade and the wounds of the past slowly begin to heal, the two clans are drawn closer together, to the point of contemplating a new co-existence under the same roof.

Hidden ambitions and a fragile alliance

Kim Hyung-mook plays Yang Dong-ik, a doctor of traditional Korean medicine determined to make the Yangjibareun Clinic a recognized and respected institution. Alongside him, So Yi-hyun takes on the role of Cha Se-ri, his second wife, a shrewd woman who has established herself in high society and mastered the codes of social power.

The newly published photos suggest a relationship based on much more than feelings. The couple display discreet, almost indecipherable smiles, leaving doubt as to their true intentions. United by a common goal (their rivalry with the Gong family) Yang Dong-ik and Cha Se-ri move forward together in a delicate alliance, where every misstep could upset the balance.

Beneath their calm, respectable exteriors, their ambitions burn, foreshadowing inner conflicts and revelations to come.

Recipe for Love will be broadcast from January 31 at 8pm (KST) on KBS2 (no international platform for the moment).
