The actor Kim Hyun-jin has just been confirmed in the cast of the new original series Genie TVentitled Idol Eye. His agency, Aer Entertainmentmade the news official on August 28, stating: "Kim Hyun Jin will play the role of Park Choong Jae on Idol Eye. We invite you to give him your full attention and support as he unveils a whole new side of his game."
A drama of court, romance and mystery
Scheduled for end of 2025Idol Eye tells the story of Maeng Se-na (played by Choi Soo-young), a star lawyer with a passion for idol culture, who finds herself defending her "ultimate bias" Do Ra-ik (Kim Jae Young), accused of murder. Between legal intrigue and unexpected romance, the drama promises to revisit the genre of the legal romance with a touch of mystery.
Kim Hyun-jin, atypical private investigator
In this project, Kim Hyun-jin as Park Choong-jaea private investigator with a keen sense of observation.
