September 18, Sports Chosun revealed that Kim Hye-soo could soon play the lead role in the new original series from Coupang Playprovisionally entitled The Affair Is Not the Problem Right Now (Business is not the issue at the moment).
A Coupang Play representative confirmed, "Kim Hye-soo's participation in The Affair Is Not the Problem Right Now is currently under discussion."
A dark and intriguing plot
This thriller tells the story of a wife who, while investigating her husband's infidelity, finds herself involved in an unexpected and mysterious event.
The project is produced by First Man Studiofounded in 2022 by Hwang Dong-hyukthe director of Squid Game. Direction will be entrusted to Lee Chang-heealready recognized as a thriller master for his work on Hell Is Other People and A Killer Paradox.
With this combination of creative team and an actress of Kim Hye-soo's caliber, the drama is already generating high expectations.
