Actor Kim Gap-su continues his year without a break. His agency F&F Entertainment confirmed on November 17 that he will take part in tvN's new weekend drama, Pro Bonoscheduled to premiere on December 6. This news is already generating a great deal of interest, given the actor's reputation for powerful performances in all genres.

A feared patriarch at the head of a legal empire
In Pro Bono, Kim Gap-su plays the role of Oh Gyu-jang, founder of the prestigious O&Partners firm, which has become one of the country's biggest under his leadership. Now retired from the top job in favor of his daughter, he takes on an advisory role... but remains an unavoidable figure, respected and feared. In the legal world, he is nicknamed both "the legend" and "the monster", a symbol of absolute authority.
The character promises a magnetic presence: meticulous strategist, inflexible personality, sharp political sense... Kim Gap-su is expected to display the charismatic coolness that fans love to see in her darker roles.
A human and explosive legal drama
Pro Bono tells the story of a career-obsessed judge who, against his will, finds himself demoted to the pro bono team of a huge law firm. A marginalized team, with no budget, stuck in a forgotten office. This starting point sets the tone: a mix of humor, chaos and emotion against a backdrop of justice and humanity.
The cast also includes Jeong Kyeong-ho, So Ju-yeon and Lee Yu-young, foreshadowing strong chemistry and intense confrontations.
As for Kim Gap-su, he continues his impressive career. In recent years, he has made his mark in diametrically opposed roles: greedy president in Queen of Tears on the one hand, loving grandfather with an unshakeable sense of morality in "Love on a Single Log Bridge" on the other. A duality that confirms his reputation as a versatile and deeply respected actor.
Pro Bono will start broadcasting on December 6 at 9:10 p.m. on tvN (awaiting international broadcast). A not-to-be-missed event for those who love legal dramas with a human touch... and a good dose of tension between powerful people.
