Scheduled for September 13 on tvN, A Hundred Memories takes viewers back to the 1980s with a story of youth, friendship and first love. The drama features Kim Da Mi and Shin Ye Euntwo young bus hostesses who share dreams, memories and a common love affair with Han Jae Pil (Heo Nam Jun).

Set around the n°100 bus line, the plot follows the daily lives of these young adults who, working together and living in the company dormitory, discover the joys and tensions of community life.

Filming memories worthy of a real dormitory

Kim Da-mi, who plays Go Young-ryean exemplary employee, confided in us about the atmosphere of the dormitory scenes: "I remember we were taking photos together and all chatting tightly in this small space. It was really like living in a dormitory."

For her part, Shin Ye-eun, who plays Seo Jong-heea rookie full of character, recounted an amusing anecdote: "On the day we shot the scene in the dormitory cafeteria, the kimchi soup with bean sprouts was so delicious that we gladly ate it. But because we had to shoot it several times, we had to eat the same portion over and over again... in the end, we all had stomachaches! In retrospect, it's become a memory that makes us laugh."

But group life isn't all about good times. The first images show Jong Hee opposing the authority of the dormitory as soon as he arrives, Kwon Hae-ja (Lee Min-ji). When Hae Ja tries to impose her dominance by pushing Jong Hee with her finger, the latter stares at her without trembling, under the shocked gazes of Young Rye and the others.

Total immersion in the 1980s

Beyond the plot, the production paid close attention to period realism. Kim Da-mi explained, "Young Rye's outfits mixed cute clothes suited to the character with modern pieces. For the hairstyle, we drew inspiration from bowl cuts and voluminous styles typical of the 1980s."

Shin Ye-eun added: "For Jong Hee, we wanted her 'girl crush' side to shine through in her outfits. We worked on the details to emphasize her personality."

Retro radios, patchwork covers and meticulous aesthetics further enhance the nostalgia and authenticity of the era.
