The drama “Sold Out on You” continues to reveal itself with new images of Kim Bum, who plays a key character ready to upset the balance of the romance.
A character of power and emotion
Kim Bum plays Seo Eric, executive director of a major international skincare brand. Having grown up in France, he finds himself in a world marked by succession issues, where he has learned to stay in the background to better survive.
But behind this controlled image lies a deeply sincere man.
During a visit to Korea, Seo Eric meets Dam Ye-jin (Chae Won-bin) and immediately falls under her spell. Even after his return to France, he can't get her out of his mind.
He then finds a professional pretext to return to Korea, by concluding a partnership with a teleshopping chain, which enables him to find Ye-jin in a totally different context.
A multi-faceted rival
At work, Seo Eric is serious and strategic. But in private, he reveals a softer, more endearing side, contrasting with his businessman image.
Her presence adds complexity to the relationship between Dam Ye-jin and Matthew Lee (Ahn Hyo-seop), foreshadowing a love triangle.
“Sold Out on You” will air from April 22 on Netflix and SBS.
