In an education system in crisis, teachers are struggling to enforce discipline. Worse still, many have lost even the desire to try. Authority in the classroom is crumbling, giving way to situations that are sometimes critical. Faced with this emergency, the National Assembly and the Ministry of Education voted to amend the law on the protection of teachers' rights. A new government agency was created: the Bureau for the Protection of Educational Rights.
It's against this backdrop that Na Hwa-jin (played by Kim Mu-yeol), a member of this office, is sent to a notoriously difficult school. His mission: to restore order to the school... with carte blanche. No more constraints, no more compromises: it's time for "real", unfiltered education.
