Adapted from the Blue Road manhwa, the Road series follows 2 detectives on the trail of a series of particularly macabre cross-border murders, characterized by deformed corpses and enigmatic messages. The investigation begins when a grotesquely contorted body is discovered in Tokyo, accompanied by a chilling message written in bloody Korean, sending shockwaves across the country. Shortly afterwards, another similar body is found, this time in Korea, with a message written in Japanese. Aware that the two cases are linked, the two nations launch a joint investigation into what appears to be a wave of serial murders.
