Hyuk-Joon (performed by Lee Jae-wook) is a debt-ridden young man. One day, a strange advertisement catches his attention: a mysterious company called Spyder Human Resource Center offers paid employment 50 times more than the usual hourly average. Attracted by this tempting promise and desperate to pay off his debts, he decides to walk through the agency's doors. There, he meets Mr. S (played by Lee Hee-joon), an enigmatic man at the head of this intriguing organization. Hyuk-Joon soon finds himself confronted by strange and sometimes disturbing phenomena that call into question everything he once believed to be real.

On his side, Yeon-Joo (played by Go Min-si), an investigator with the Institut de Prévention et de Protection contre les Accidents Industriels, begins to take a close interest in unexplained events linked to the agency. Determined to shed light on the company's dark side, she begins her investigations.
