SBS is preparing a new romantic comedy that is sure to appeal to fans of the genre: Would You Marry Medue in October, features a promising duo formed by Jung So-min and Choi Woo-shik.

The plot is based on an idea as simple as it is original: a man and a woman agree to get married... but forged, and only for 90 days. Their objective? To win a newlywed house, a symbol of success and dreams for many Korean couples.

Jung So-min, a resourceful and endearing CEO

Jung So-min plays Yoo Marya businesswoman who runs her own small design company, Mary Design.

Despite the modesty of her structure (she employs just one person), the young woman is undaunted and touches on everything: sales, management, operations... nothing escapes her. To support herself and her project, she accepts every assignment that comes her way, even the most unlikely.
In new images unveiled by the production, we discover an inventive and energetic Yoo Mary, going so far as to show up at a crab festival disguised... as a crab! With a red mask and pliers in her hands, she doesn't hesitate to put on a show to land a contract.

Choi Woo-shik, heir to a baking dynasty

Facing her, Choi Woo-shik play Kim Woo-jooheir to the oldest bakery in South Korea. An unexpected encounter prompts Yoo Mary to offer him a surprising deal: become her fake husband for 90 days. By an uncanny coincidence, Kim Woo-joo shares the same name as Mary's ex-fiancé, adding an extra emotional dimension to their agreement.

Long-awaited chemistry

The production team has already expressed its confidence in Jung So-min's choice for the role. In their opinion, no other actress could have embodied both the pragmatic and irresistibly endearing side of Yoo Mary. So fans can look forward to a performance that's funny, bubbly and touching.
