Shin Se-kyung is about to make his comeback in a romantic comedy... and a long-awaited pairing could be in the works.
According to the latest information, the actress has been chosen to play the female lead in the new drama “Love Virus”directed by Kim Seok-yoon. Jung Hae-in is reportedly in talks to join the project.

A long-awaited return to romance
Shin Se-kyung hasn't acted in a romantic comedy since “Run On” in 2021. This new project marks a long-awaited return to the genre.
The actress, who first came to public attention with “High Kick Through the Roof”, has since gone on to play a string of outstanding roles in historical dramas and ambitious productions, consolidating her career.
After a successful stint in the cinema with “Humint”, she is now preparing to return to the small screen.
Long-awaited duo in talks
Jung Hae-in has also received an offer for “Love Virus” and is currently examining the project.
The possible meeting between Jung Hae-in and Shin Se-kyung is already generating a lot of anticipation, as both actors are particularly appreciated for their sensitivity in romantic roles.
The drama will be directed by Kim Seok-yoon, known for such acclaimed works as “My Liberation Notes”, “The Light in Your Eyes” and “Law School”.
