Jinyoung, a member of GOT7 as well as an actor recently seen in Our Unwritten Seoul, could well take on the lead role in the new series " 100 Days of Lies" from tvNscheduled for broadcast in the first half of 2026.
On July 29, 2025, Korean media revealed that Jinyoung had received an offer to play the male lead in this suspenseful historical series. In response to this information, BH Entertainmentthe artist's agency, has indicated that he is currently considering the proposal, without however officially confirming his participation in the project.
The captivating plot of "100 Days of Lies
"100 Days of Lies is a historical thriller set during the Japanese colonial era in Korea. The story follows a pickpocket from Gyeongseong (formerly Seoul), who becomes an undercover spy for the Korean Independents. To accomplish his mission, he infiltrates the Japanese government, posing as an ordinary employee. The screenplay is by Ryu Bo-rithe screenwriter of such successful series as Do You Like Brahms? and Trolley. The director Yoo In-shikknown for his work on Extraordinary Attorney Woo and Dr. Romanticwill be at the helm of this production.
Jinyoung would share the screen with Kim Yoo-jungwho plays the female lead. The chemistry between these 2 talents promises to captivate viewers from the very first broadcast.
An impressive career for Jinyoung
Although Jinyoung is still best known for his musical activities as a member of the group GOT7his career as an actor is just as remarkable. Since his debut in 2012 in the drama Dream High 2he proved his talent in numerous productions, including The Devil Judge, Yumi's Cells, and more recently Our Unwritten Seoul. The actor also shone on the silver screen with the film Hi-5.
Jinyoung is currently preparing for her role in the series Shining for JTBCbut he already seems ready to take on the challenge of another major role with 100 Days of Lies.
