MBC has unveiled the first images of the script reading for its upcoming drama Judge Lee Han-younga legal thriller starring Ji Sung, Won Jin-ah and Park Hee-soon.
A corrupt judge confronts his past
Adapted from a web novel, the drama follows Lee Han-young (Ji Sung), a judge once enslaved by a powerful law firm, who finds himself thrust ten years on. This second chance allows him to do justice tackling the greatest figures of evil.
The script reading was attended by the director Lee Jae-jinthe screenwriter Kim Kwang-minand a solid cast: Tae Won-seok, Baek Jin-hee, Oh Se-young, Hwang Hee, Kim Tae-woo, Ahn Nae-sang and Kim Bup-rae.
Ji Sung, a judge in search of redemption
Known for his intense roles, Ji Sung impressed with his interpretation of the emotional shift of Lee Han-young after her mother's death, embodying both the guilt of a broken man and determination of a judge determined to right his wrongs.
Park Hee-soon, the judge of power

Judge Lee Han-young will be broadcast on MBC from January 2, 2026 (awaiting international distribution).
