The new original series Disney+, The Manipulatedreveals a striking glimpse of its exceptional cast, led by Ji Chang-wook, Doh Kyung-sooand Lee Kwang-soo. This intense thriller promises a plunge into the depths of betrayal, power and revenge.

Revenge born of injustice
Tae Joong (Ji Chang-wook) is an ordinary man whose life is turned upside down when he is falsely accused of a heinous crime. Behind this machination lies Yo Han (Doh Kyung-soo), a calculating man who pulls strings behind the scenes. Determined to make those who destroyed his life pay, Tae Joong chooses the path of vengeance, even if it means losing himself in this one-sided battle.

The first images show Ji Chang-wook in prison uniform, his face scarred and his gaze icy. Once a simple man, he is now consumed by hatred and determination. Opposite him, Doh Kyung-soo, dressed in a black suit, flashes an ominous smile while pointing a gun, revealing all the madness and cruelty of his character.

A high-voltage confrontation
Around them gravitate figures as intriguing as they are dangerous: Noh Yong-sik (Kim Jong-soo) and Noh Eun-bi (Jo Yoon-soo), who stand by Tae Joong's side. Baek Do-kyung (Lee Kwang-soo) attracts attention with his distinctive looks and strategic role in the plot. Inside the prison, Tae Joong must also confront Yeo Deok-su (Yang Dong-geun), a feared prisoner, in a confrontation where the slightest weakness can be fatal.
