tvN has unveiled an energetic new poster for Pro Bonoits next weekend drama starring Jeong Kyeong-ho, So Ju-yeon, Yoon Na-moo, Seo Hye-won and Kang Hyung-suk. A poster that immediately announces a wobbly, noisy but devilishly endearing team, and above all the start of an unexpected journey for a judge deposed overnight.

Scheduled for December 6Pro Bono tells the story of Kang David, a career-obsessed magistrate who finds himself forced to become a public defender in the most neglected office of a gigantic law firm. A forced reconversion that promises as many laughs as human moments.

An ex-judge propelled to the bottom of the rankings

The poster shows KangDavid, once self-assured in his judge's robe, now slumped in the middle of a mess of files, a dog in his arms and a completely lost look in his eyes. His expression, a mixture of weariness and despair, perfectly describes the brutal fall of a man who has lost his prestige and finds himself thrown into a reality beyond his control.

The tagline on the poster "A ruined career, an equally ruined team... welcome to the misfits of pro bono" immediately sets the tone for the series: a mixture of chaos, clumsiness and unexpected solidarity.

An unlikely team, but full of charm

Around him gravitates a team as mismatched as it is unpredictable:

  • Park Ki-ppeum (So Ju-yeon)whose good humor lights up the open space.
  • Yoo Nan-hee (Seo Hye-won)sarcastic but strangely appeased.
  • Jang Young-sil (Yoon Na-moo)reassuring but a bit moody.
  • Hwang Jun-woo (Kang Hyung-suk)impeccably straight and diligent.

Radically opposed personalities, but destined to work together. Their chaotic dynamic becomes a comic motor, but also an emotional heartbeat as the cases they have to solve unfold.

Pro Bono promises a tender, funny look at those who, despite their clumsiness and differences, try to do good in a ruthless environment. The first episode will air on Saturday, December 6 at 9:10 p.m. on tvN (international broadcaster pending).
