The next SBS drama, Dynamite Kiss, continues to build anticipation with the unveiling of new photos of Jang Ki-yong in the male lead role.
The series will tell the story of a single woman who poses as a mother to get a joband a team leader who ends up falling in love with her.
Jang Ki-yong plays Gong Ji-hyukthe head of the Mother Task Force, a team specializing in baby products. Intelligent, calm and passionate, Gong Ji-hyuk has never believed in love... until a woman named Go Da-rim (played by Ahn Eun-jin) disappears, leaving behind her only a a kiss as intense as a cataclysm.
The new images show Gong Ji-hyuk with a deep, tender gaze, contrasting with his usual coldness. Another photo shows her free, relaxed charmrevealing a more human and endearing side of the character.
The production team commented: "At work, Gong Ji-hyuk is a cold, rational ace, but when faced with Go Da-rim - who awakens an explosive love in him - he becomes a gentle, disarming man. Jang Ki-yong embodies all the nuances of this character with a luminous energy that will make viewers' hearts beat faster."
Dynamite Kiss will be broadcast from November 12 at 9 p.m. (KST) on SBS (awaiting international distribution).
