The drama “Perfect Crown” continues to build anticipation! With just a few days to go before its release, the production has unveiled both one of its main posters and some behind-the-scenes images from the shoot, highlighting the strong chemistry between the actors.
A couple at the heart of history
In this alternative universe, Korea is a constitutional monarchy, IU plays Seong Hui-ju, a chaebol heiress who has everything... except noble status. Opposite her, Byeon Woo-seok plays Grand Prince Ian, a prince who, despite his rank, has nothing.
The new poster perfectly illustrates their relationship: the 2 characters dance a waltz in a banquet hall bathed in light, forming an almost unreal couple. Yet behind this fairytale image lies a more complex reality: their marriage is based on strategic agreement, not love.

Alchemy already in evidence
In the images from the poster shoot, IU and Byeon Woo-seok show their complicity. During a take, the actor doesn't hesitate to help IU steady himself, testifying to a warm atmosphere on the set.
The 2 actors were also very involved in the final rendering. During the shoot, they take the time to adjust their poses, check details on screen and work together to capture the desired emotion.
Byeon Woo-seok confided that he had tried on several costumes before finding the one that suited his character perfectly, while the whole team worked hard to create a romantic and elegant atmosphere.
In addition to the main duo, the drama also brings together Noh Sang-hyun and Gong Seung-yeon, all present on the posters and fully invested in their roles. All contribute to creating a strong visual dynamic, with poses and expressions designed to reflect their characters.
A romance between strategy and sentiment
According to the production team, this poster captures a key moment: a waltz scene that symbolizes both the romance and the stakes surrounding this royal couple.
Broadcast from April 10 on MBC and Disney+ worldwide.
