The romantic drama " In Your Radiant Season »continues to enrich its emotional universe with new images highlighting a mature romance, carried by Lee Mi-sook and Kang Suk-woo. Through their characters, the series explores the idea that it's never too late to see an old love come back to life.
Lee Mi-sook plays Kim Nana, a leading figure in Korean fashion and founder of Nana Atelier. A first-generation designer, she has built her world on strict principles and absolute standards. Her natural authority, sharp eyes and impeccable posture command respect, both in her work and within her family, of which she remains the discreet but essential pillar. However, an unexpected turn of events shakes up this perfectly mastered life: the reappearance of her first love, long buried in memories.
When the past paves the way for a new spring
Opposite her, Kang Suk-woo lends his features to Park Man-jae, a barista who runs the «Shim» café, tucked away in a quiet alleyway. After retirement, Man-jae leads a simple, peaceful existence, offering a listening ear and comfort to those who cross his path. It's through Song Ha-ran, interpreted by Lee Sung-kyung, Kim Nana and Park Man-jae meet again, years after losing touch with each other.
The images unveiled capture the meeting of 2 worlds that still recognize each other. Kim Nana still exudes the poise of a career woman, but her softer expression hints at the changes to come. Park Man-jae, with his warm smile and kind gaze, brings a new serenity, creating a subtle tension of memories, restraint and long-contained emotions.
According to the production team, «from the very first shoot, Lee Mi-sook and Kang Suk-woo showed a natural chemistry, giving birth to a fully realized adult romance that will become one of the emotional pillars of the series». A belated relationship, imbued with courage and tenderness, that promises to add a special depth to the story.
In Your Radiant Season will be broadcast from February 20 at 9:50pm (KST) on MBC (waiting for an OTT).
