MBC's next drama, « In Your Radiant Season« continues to unveil its sensitive, contrasting atmosphere. New images highlight the delicate encounter between Chae Jong-hyeop and Lee Sung-kyung, They are two characters who seem to be at odds with each other.
Song Ha-ran, locked in an emotional winter after deep wounds, leads a life where she carefully avoids all attachments. Opposite her, Sunwoo Chan moves forward with luminous energy, as if he were living every day as a summer vacation. Their first, almost silent encounter takes place in an art museum: Ha-ran contemplates a work of art, while Chan freezes in recognition, as if time has stopped around them. A suspended moment that already suggests a much older bond.
A reunion after 7 years, between silence and heartbeat
Seven years earlier, Sunwoo Chan had met Ha-ran at a time when she was for him «a breeze of spring» in the heart of his own winter. Returning to Korea for a three-month business trip, he finds her by chance... but chooses to stay close to her without revealing who he really is. A decision that fuels a gentle, unsettling tension.
The new images show Sunwoo Chan delicately placing his jacket on Ha-ran's shoulders, causing her to be surprised and confused. She wonders about this man who always seems to appear at her side, while he simply smiles brightly, radiating a warmth to which she is no longer accustomed. Little by little, her daily routine begins to falter.
The production team emphasized the immediate connection between the 2 actors: «Right from the first shoot, Lee Sung-kyung and Chae Jong-hyeop created a “radiant chemistry” thanks to their natural, delicate acting. We hope viewers will look forward to discovering whether the winter of these two characters will lead to a radiant spring, after their reunion seven years later.»
