A formidable lawyer... and fangirl for 11 years

Sooyoung takes on the role of Maeng Se-na, a brilliant lawyer nicknamed "the defender of villains" because she only takes on criminal cases that no one else will touch. Behind her fearsome reputation, she hides an unspoken passion: she's a long-time fan of the band Gold Boys, and her absolute bias is none other than Do Ra-ik, their lead singer.

When the idol is accused of murder overnight, it's she who finds herself on the front line. Sooyoung brings a particular intensity to the character, alternating between the rigor of a methodical lawyer and the sincere emotion of a fan ready to do anything to prove the innocence of the man she admires.

Kim Jae-yeong performs Do Ra-ik, A seemingly perfect idol, talented, charismatic and adored by the public, but whose smooth image conceals a darker side. The actor embodies both the brutal collapse of the accused idol and the inner battle of a man forced to drop the mask.

Rivals, family secrets and a tense romance

Jung Jae-kwang plays Kwak Byeong-gyun, an icy prosecutor from a prestigious family of lawyers. He shares a complex past with Maeng Se-na, and the Do Ra-ik case rekindles an old rivalry where resentment and personal wounds are intertwined.

Choi Hee-jin plays Hong Hye-ju, the second daughter of a powerful chaebol family, brilliant in appearance but unable to get what she really wants. Her role promises to be central to the drama's emotional tensions.

Finally, Kim Hyun-jin adds a warm, dynamic touch in the role of Park Chung-jae, private investigator and loyal ally of Maeng Se-na, always ready to get his hands on crucial clues.

According to the production team, the synergy of the cast is already exceeding their expectations: "Between the quest for truth, the passion of a fan and the doubt that settles in, the drama will blend emotion, romance and tension with exceptional energy."
