Between tensions, old grudges and a customer who makes the heart beat faster
In the first extracts, Maeng Se-na naively dreams of meeting her idol... before missing out on buying tickets for her concert. The narrative takes an abrupt turn when she declares: "I would never have imagined, even in my wildest dreams, that we would meet as lawyer and murder suspect."
Facing Do Ra-ik in the interrogation room, she asks him if he really committed the crime. When he proclaims his innocence with awkward sincerity, she instinctively believes him, because she knows that he's the one who committed the crime. acting has never been his strong point. An unexpected cohabitation soon develops between them, leading to scenes full of awkwardness, distance... and thrills. Do Ra-ik even doubts that she's a real lawyer, while she tries to hide her fan status from him to remain professional.
The trailer also shows a vulnerable Do Ra-ik, harassed by public protests. "Golden Boys' Do Ra-ik deserves to be loved. But I'm not."he says, broken. Se-na encourages him not to give up. Later, he confesses: "When I'm with you... I simply become myself." Determined, Se-na vows to clear her name by proving her innocence.
An explosive duo and an unexpected ally
The new images also highlight the conflicting relationship between Se-na and prosecutor Kwak Byeong-gyun. One shot shows them so close that she looks ready to slap him. Their shared high-school past resurfaces, fueling an electrically-charged face-off.

Conversely, Park Chung-jae offers Se-na a soothing presence. The images show their awkward complicity: he appears as a patient, almost devoted partner, gently capturing evidence or sharing a sulky look with her. Sooyoung commented: "Jung Jae-kwang and I were classmates at university. Working together today is both nostalgic and exciting."
She adds about Kim Hyun-jin: "Se-na lives in a self-built fortress, but Chung-jae is the only person she lets in."
