Disney+ gradually lifts the veil on Made in Koreaits next drama event, starring Hyun Bin. Set in the 1970s, the series plunges into a period where chaos, power and violence shape extraordinary destinies. New stills unveiled on November 24 confirm the dark, charismatic aura of the main character: Baek Ki-tae.
An all-consuming rise in the heart of the 70s
The series tells the story of Baek Ki-tae, influential KCIA executive, ready to treat an entire country as a tool to reach the pinnacle of wealth and power. Opposing him is prosecutor Jang Gun-young, played by Jung Woo-sung, who is determined to risk everything to stop this relentless rise.
After Crash Landing on You, Confidential Assignment, The Negotiation and Harbin, This is Hyun Bin's first original series for Disney+. His role is heralded as the most intense performance dominated by pure desire he has ever given.
The unveiled images show Baek Ki-tae moving through the cold, austere corridors of the KCIA, the nerve center of state power. His apparent calm contrasts with a piercing gaze, charged with icy ambition. Even standing still, the atmosphere around him seems to tense up, as if every gesture could redraw the balance of power in the country.

Oppressive atmosphere and multi-stage delivery
In one of the stills, we see him facing the agency's vast gray office, placed exactly where the most strategic decisions are made. The image reveals a form of silent domination, that of a man convinced that the time has come to seize even greater power.

Disney+ will offer Made in Korea in 6 episodes: 2 will go online on December 24, 2 more on December 31, followed by an episode on January 7 and 14.
