The drama “My Royal Nemesis”continues to unveil its characters with new images focusing on Cha Se-gye, played by Heo Nam-joon, a chaebol heir as cold as he is fearsome.
In this romantic comedy combining fantasy and the clash of eras, Lim Ji-yeon plays a modern actress possessed by the spirit of a famous Joseon-era antagonist. Opposite her, Cha Se-gye establishes herself as a powerful and disturbing figure of the contemporary world.
Coming from a large industrial family, he is described as a pure product of capitalism, born in a context of family strategy and economic alliances.
A cool character under pressure
Unveiled images show Cha Se-gye walking through a crowd of demonstrators protesting against his company. Despite the hostility, he maintains a perfectly impassive attitude.

Dressed in an elegant black suit, he advances without hesitation, even when eggs are thrown in his direction. Protected by an umbrella, his icy gaze seems totally indifferent to the situation.

This scene highlights his inflexible character and detachment from emotion, reinforcing his image as a ruthless leader.

Expectations are now high as to how this character will develop, especially when he comes face to face with Kang Dan-shim, Joseon's formidable villain played by Lim Ji Yeon.
“My Royal Nemesis” will be broadcast from May 8 at 9:50pm (Korean time) and on Netflix.
