As the airing of tvN's new drama "Head Over Heels" is fast approaching (June 23, 2025), the channel has just unveiled a series of never-before-seen photos highlighting the electrifying chemistry between Cho Yi Hyun and Choo Young Woo. The two actors reunite on screen for the first time since School 2021, in a fantastic romance of destiny and troubled youth.

Inspired by a successful webtoon, Head Over Heels tells the story of Park Seong A, a high-school student who leads a double life as a shaman, and Bae Gyeon U, her first love doomed by tragic fate. From their first meeting - when Gyeon U accidentally enters Seong A's shrine - a spark is ignited. The young shaman immediately falls under his spell, although she soon discovers the weight that weighs on him.

The photos published on June 5 capture several key moments in their relationship, oscillating between tenderness and dramatic tension. They include their high school reunion after Gyeon U's transfer, marked by Seong A's radiant smile and Gyeon U's cold but troubled gaze. One shot in particular caused a sensation: an intense face-to-face where their eyes meet just inches apart, creating an electric atmosphere almost ready to explode into a kiss.

Another striking image: a scene in which Park Seong A slams Gyeon U against a wall in a bold gesture, triggering a reaction of total surprise in him. Gyeon U's frozen expression, with his hand covering his mouth, contrasts with Seong A's disconcerting self-assurance, confirming their dynamic as both touching and thrilling.

The drama promises to explore the dilemmas of fate, the power of first love and the will to change the inevitable. Park Seong A declares herself a "human amulet" willing to do anything to protect Gyeon U, while the latter, once determined to stay away so as not to harm those he loves, may well reconsider his convictions.

The lead duo expressed their enthusiasm at working together again. "We've grown a lot since our last project, so that motivated me," said Cho Yi Hyun. Choo Young Woo, meanwhile, hailed the new-found complicity: "It was a bit surreal, but very nice to have her back on set."
