Netflix is preparing a new black drama with an impressive cast: Han Seok-Gyu, Yoon Kye-sang, Choo Ja-hyun, Yoo Jae-myung, Kim Jong-soo and Go Doo-shim have confirmed their participation in the series provisionally entitled Kin and Sin (formerly known as Got it).

A clash between three clans for control of Jeju

Directed by Choi Jung-yeol (Start-Up), Kin and Sin will explore the power struggle between 3 powerful families on Jeju Island: the Bu, Yang and Go clans. Bound by ancestral traditions and implacable rivalry, these families vie for economic and territorial control of the island.

The Korean title, Gwendangcomes from a Jeju dialect word for relatives who perform ancestral rites together. It evokes strong community ties, based on solidarity and loyalty, beyond the simple family.

A major cast for an intense drama

Han Seok-gyu plays Bu Yong-nam, the head of the Bu clan, powerful in breeding and horse racing. Opposite him, Yoo Jae-myung will play Yang Gwang-ik, leader of the Yang clan and a formidable figure in Jeju City. Kim Jong-soo will play Go Dae-soo, a member of the Go clan who once prospered in Seogwipo's casinos.
