SBS revives one of its legal successes with « Good Partner 2«unveiled in a special teaser during the 2025 SBS Drama Awards. This new season marks a major turning point for the series, driven by the return of Jang Nara and the notable arrival of Kim Hye-yoon, ready to breathe new life into this drama centered on the behind-the-scenes world of divorce law.
Cha Eun-kyung, a new firm and a new vision
In Season 1, Good Partner followed two lawyers with opposing views on divorce: Cha Eun-kyung (Jang Nara), the undisputed star of the bar for whom divorce is a vocation, and Han Yu-ri (Nam Ji-hyun), a young recruit who is still hesitant in the face of the brutality of the field.
Good Partner 2 is embarking on a new phase. Now at the helm of the First law firm specializing exclusively in divorce in Korea, Cha Eun-kyung leaves the prestigious Daejung law firm to establish her own practice: Spring Again. A meaningful name, conceived as a promise to clients that they will quickly find warmth, hope, and renewal after a breakup.
As elegant and incisive as ever, Cha Eun-kyung asserts herself in the teaser with a simple but powerful phrase: «Trust me.» A strong comeback that promises a more mature, intense, and personal season.
Kim Hye-yoon, a partner who does not intend to remain in the shadows
But the real surprise of the teaser comes a few seconds later. Kim Hye-yoon enters confidently and replies bluntly: «No. Trust me.»
A single sentence is enough to lay the foundations for an explosive relationship. Bound by a complex and inevitable connection, the two women become partners, each driven by a strong personality and unshakeable confidence in their convictions. Their verbal confrontation already hints at an electric dynamic, where ego, experience, and past wounds are likely to clash as much as they complement each other.
With this new partnership, Good Partner 2 promises to explore not only increasingly sensitive divorce cases, but also how two powerful women learn to move forward together despite their differences.
