Disney+ continues to unveil the key faces of « Bloody Flower« his next dark and disturbing thriller. After the first images focusing on the serial killer at the heart of the plot, it is now Geum Sae-rok who reveals herself through new shots, in the role of a prosecutor determined to make a name for herself.

An heiress to the judicial system in search of legitimacy
In Bloody Flower, Geum Sae-rok plays Cha Yi-yeon, a prosecutor from a privileged background who is obsessed with one thing: proving she deserves her position. To establish her reputation, she takes on a case that everyone else is shying away from - that of Lee Woo-gyeom, a serial killer accused of multiple murders, played by Ryeoun.
Charged with requesting the death penalty, Cha Yi-yeon approaches the case with cold logic and absolute confidence in the judicial system. The trial becomes a unique opportunity for her to establish herself as a key figure in the prosecution, even if it means ignoring the grey areas of the case.
When certainty falters in the face of the unimaginable
But as the investigation and hearings progress, Cha Yi-yeon's convictions begin to crack. Lee Woo-gyeom claims to possess a gift capable of curing all incurable diseases, a claim she initially rejects outright. However, the further the trial progresses, the more the possibility that her words are true becomes apparent, shaking her vision of justice, ethics... and herself.

The images unveiled underline this duality. In the courtroom, the prosecutor displays an implacable authority, with a straight stare and controlled posture. Outside the courtroom, her tense face and sharp gaze reveal a growing anxiety, a sign that the case is gradually slipping away from her.
In this role, Geum Sae-rok plays a woman caught between personal ambition and moral questioning, at the heart of a drama that questions head-on the limits of the law in the face of the inexplicable.
Bloody Flower will start February 4th on Disney+, with 2 episodes broadcast every week.
