The cast of the drama “Full Count”(working title) evolves with a notable change. While Jung Sung-il was initially in talks to join the project, the actor ultimately decided not to take part.
Park Hoon could now be cast in this new drama centered on the world of professional baseball. On April 1, his agency Artist Company confirmed, “Park Hoon is currently reviewing the offer positively.”
The project, to be broadcast on SBS, is already attracting attention with its behind-the-scenes approach to sport and internal rivalries.

Drama at the heart of coach competition
“Full Count” will immerse viewers in the world of men's professional baseball, focusing on the intense competition between coaches.
Park Hoon has reportedly been offered the role of Jo Dong-hee, pitching coach for the “Stars” team. A strategic position within the team, at the heart of sporting and human tensions.
Alongside him, Kim Rae-won is in talks to play Hwang Jin-ho, both coach and interim manager of the same team. A dynamic that promises confrontations and high stakes.
A project led by an experienced director
Ham Joon-ho, known for his work on “Payback: Money and Power” and “Love Scout”, will direct.
Park Hoon already knows the director well, having collaborated with him on “Payback: Money and Power”, where he played an elite prosecutor.
Park Hoon is renowned for his outstanding roles in both television and film, and continues to take on a series of ambitious projects. His possible participation in “Full Count” could mark a new turning point in his career, especially after the success of the film “12.12: The Day”, which enabled him to join the circle of actors with over 10 million admissions in Korea.
The drama is due to start shooting in April.
