This weekend's fête de la musique in France is an opportunity to take a closer look at the soundtracks of our favorite k-dramas! What would a good Korean series be without its music and the famous artists who sing it? To mark the occasion, we asked you on Threads what your favorite songs were that you could listen to over and over again. Based on those answers, here's a selection of music that could well end up on your kdrama playlist!

Crash landing on you soundtrack
Long the No. 1 K-drama before Queen of tears dethroned it, Crash landing on you is a story of the story of a wealthy South Korean woman (played by Son Ye-jin) who lands after a parachuting accident in North Korea and must adapt to life there if she is to successfully cross the border and return home. In the process, she falls in love with an army officer (played by Hyun Bin) who will help her achieve her goal. A mythical kdrama, especially as the main actors fell in love in real life and are now married.
Here I am again, sung by Yerin Baek, is a must-have OST track.
Queen of tears songs
So it's not hard to make the transition to the soundtrack of Queen of tears, released in 2024, with Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-wonwhich was a huge hit last year and remains one of the most viewed and profitable kdramas in history, propelling the 2 actors to the top of their game. There's plenty of music in the series, from Tell me it's not a dream by the great 10CM to Hold me back by Heize and the chill-inducing Love you with all my heart by Crush. A soundtrack to match the emotions conveyed by the kdrama.
It's okay not to be okay
It's okay not to be okay is another kdrama that explores a wide range of emotions with a formidable trio of actors. Seo Yea-ji, Kim Soo-hyun and Oh Jung-se talk to us about mental health issues in this must-see series. The soundtrack features 35 tunes (sung or unsung) to listen to over and over again, including the beautiful You're cold by Heize, one of the essential singers of kdrama osts.
Study Group
Nothing to do with the musical styles of previous series: Study Group made a name for itself in 2025 for its fight scenes and the subject of the difficulty of studying, particularly in certain high schools. Hwang Min-hyun and Cha Woo-min give fine performances, while the dynamic soundtrack is also worth a listen.
Alchemy of souls
How can we talk about OST without mentioning the one forAlchemy of Souls ? A highly successful Sageuk (historical kdrama, in traditional costumes) released in 2022, Alchemy of Souls brings together Lee Jae-wook, Jung So-Min and a fine array of actors in a fantasy story of mages, souls and, of course, romance. The soundtrack, in season 1 as in season 2, is as distinctive as Car, the garden's Scars leave beautiful trace.
