MBC continues to promote First Man" its new daily revenge drama, with a tension-filled poster. The visual features the 3 main characters, Hahm Eun-jung, Oh Hyun-kyung and Yoon Sun-woo, each facing in a different direction, as if their already intertwined destinies were taking opposite paths.
Two women bound by vengeance and a man at the heart of the storm
First Man tells the story of 2 women whose lives are turned upside down in a dangerous game of substitution and desire. Hahm Eun-jung plays Oh Jang-mi, a woman of integrity who dreams of opening her own restaurant, and Ma Se-rin, the only capricious granddaughter of the Dream Group president. Two diametrically opposed personalities, two lives doomed to contradict each other and reveal deep wounds.
Facing her, Oh Hyun-kyung lends his features to Chae Hwa-young, a fascinatingly elegant former star. But behind this luxurious façade lies a brutal, almost all-consuming ambition. Driven by a desire to take over the Dream Group conglomerate, Chae Hwa-young is the kind of woman willing to set the world on fire to achieve her goals.
In the midst of these conflicting destinies lies Kang Baek-ho, played by Yoon Sun-woo. A warm, charismatic and deeply loyal lawyer, he believes Oh Jang-mi is the woman of his life and loves her wholeheartedly, almost desperately. His gaze in the poster betrays an unyielding tenderness, as if he's ready to face any storm for her.
A poster where every look tells the story of a wound
In the unveiled visual, Oh Jang-mi stands tall, but her gaze carries a poignant duality: the firmness of a woman who won't give up, and the sadness of someone who has already lost too much. We can make out the scars of twins Jang-mi and Se-rin, forced to lead opposing lives in the name of revenge or greed.
Chae Hwa-young, in her bright red dress, stares into the camera with a sharp gaze. Her elegance seems to conceal a cold anger, ready to descend on the sisters. Everything about her announces confrontation: posture, expression, color.
Kang Baek-ho, in his black suit, brings a soothing gentleness to the tension. His calmness exudes a stability that seems destined to be put to the test. Poster slogan "Join me, take revenge opens the door to a story where alliances, manipulation and stolen identities intertwine until they spill over.
First Man opens on December 15 on MBC (awaiting an international broadcaster).
