The next KBS 2TV drama, Eunsoo's Good Day (은수 좋은 날), promises to be as intense as it is unexpected. Scheduled for release in September, this psychological family thriller stars Lee Young-ae in the complex role of a mother ready to do anything... even ally herself with a stranger with a troubled past. The production has just revealed a behind-the-scenes look at the first script reading.The atmosphere was both warm and concentrated.

A double-edged plot

The story revolves around Kang Eunsooan ordinary mother, played by Lee Young-aewhose life is turned upside down the day she discovers a bag full of drugs. Caught up in a dangerous spiral, she teams up with Lee Kyung, a two-faced art teacher (played by Kim Young-kwang) to protect his family. This unlikely duo find themselves embroiled in a partnership as risky as it is fragile, between lies, survival and betrayal.

But Lee Kyung isn't just a teacher. Adored by his students by day, he becomes a mysterious club MD by night. A double life that hides many secrets... and dangers.

A solid cast and an electric atmosphere right from the start

The first script reading brought the whole team together: Lee Young-ae, Kim Young-kwang, Park Yong-woo, as well as many familiar faces from the small screen. The session began on a light note with a "heart relay" launched by Lee Young Ae, drawing the other actors into a warm and complicit moment.

But from the very first lines of text, the tone changed. All the actors turned in lively performances, immersing themselves intensely in their respective characters. Lee Young-ae immediately captured attention with her mastery of emotions, juggling maternal distress and determination with finesse. Kim Young-kwang, on the other hand, revealed a chilling duality, going from gentle teacher to troubled character in the blink of an eye. As for Park Yong-woo, he plays a veteran detective haunted by his past wounds, in pursuit of the trafficking ring.

A series full of tension... and promise

After this first reading, the players shared their enthusiasm and expectations. Lee Young-ae spoke of this drama as a turning point in his career and an opportunity to offer KBS's audience a memorable work.. Kim Young-kwang emphasized the richness of the script, centered on characters driven by their deepest desires, while Park Yong-woo expressed his conviction that viewers would be drawn into this story with its many twists and turns.
