Baek Ki-tae, a high-ranking official at the Central Intelligence Agency, sees the nation as his own business ground. His influence extends from the corridors of power to the shadows of the business world, where he conducts risky operations with disconcerting calm. Far from the traditional hero, Hyun Bin's role here is intense, cold and calculating, where every word and look seems weighed up to manipulate, control and advance to the top.

Tension-building poster and teaser

The poster reveals Baek Ki-tae wearing an earpiece, the silhouette of his shirt top outlining the Korean peninsula. A symbolic image, reinforced by a simple but terrifying phrase: "I'm a businessman." It says it all. Power, money, country... Baek Ki-tae sees it all as a market to be conquered.

In the teaser, Hyun Bin first appears in a black-and-white shot, his profile rigid, almost sculpted. His deep voice breaks the silence: "This is a fight where someone has to die. And it won't be me." The tension builds immediately. In just a few seconds, the nervous editing, the oppressive music and the coldness of his gaze create a climate of constant threat.

Baek Ki-tae then promises to overthrow anyone more powerful than himself, ready to transform a world he deems dominated by the powerful. For him, the death of others is an opportunity, another step on the road to ultimate ascension. A chilling vision that promises a fascinating, complex character, unusual even in the darker roles of the genre.

"Made in Korea" will start airing on December 24 with 2 episodes, followed by 2 more on December 31. The remaining episodes will then be broadcast weekly.
