The fantastic drama « No Tail to Tell »continues to reveal itself with a new teaser focusing on the character of Eun Ho, played by Kim Hye-yoon. The series offers an original variation on the gumiho myth, featuring a 9-tailed vixen who adamantly refuses to become human, even if it means defying the rules of fate.

Eun Ho is anything but a traditional gumiho. Where others aspire to humanity, she firmly rejects the idea, preferring to enjoy only the pleasures of the human world without its sufferings. The teaser opens with her voice full of sadness: «I won't become human. I won't love humans either. I will not live and die in misery.» A statement that immediately raises questions about her past and the wounds that led her to make this radical choice.

When a wish changes everything... and destroys an ascent

Eun Ho's path intersects with that of Kang Si-yeol, played by Lomon, Eun Ho is a narcissistic and adored footballer, concerned only with his own personal glory. For Eun Ho, living among humans is like making purchases in a video game: enjoy only the fun stuff, without ever paying the price.

But the balance is upset by the arrival of Hyun Woo-seok (Jang Dong-joo), a down-on-his-luck player recently dropped from his team. Touched by his desperate plea «Actually, I can't give up like this», Kang Si-yeol uses the mysterious greeting card of Eun Ho. To prove the extent of her powers, Eun Ho grants Woo-seok's wish... while imposing a heavy backlash on Kang Si-yeol.

His enigmatic phrase, «I changed your 2 destinies», resonates in direct opposition to the rage of Kang Si-yeol, who screams: «I can't live like this. No, I refuse!». This moment marks a major turning point: the rising star sees her future turned upside down, while Eun Ho seems to lose some of her own powers.

Around them gravitate several mysterious figures: Geum Ho (Lee Si-woo), a gumiho who was once like an older sister to Eun Ho; Lee Yun (Choi Seung-yoon), a VIP client and fourth-generation heir to the Geumsu group, for whom money knows no bounds; and Jang Do-cheol (Kim Tae-woo), a shaman determined to track down the gumiho.

The teaser concludes with a powerful sentence: «The moment of choice has finally arrived for the gumiho». As the relationship between Eun Ho and Kang Si-yeol evolves, one question remains: can this stubborn gumiho regain the powers she let slip from her grasp... and at what cost?

No Tail to Tell will be broadcast from January 16, 2026 and will be available for streaming on Netflix.
