March sees the long-awaited return of Ju Ji-hoon on the small screen. The actor will star in the drama « Climax« Genie TV's new original series on ENA, now confirmed for premiere in mid-March.
Designed as an intense political thriller, Climax focuses on power struggles at the top of the state. The series follows Bang Tae-seop, a prosecutor willing to plunge into an opaque and dangerous power cartel to reach the highest levels. Around him, allies and enemies clash in a war of survival where every choice can be fatal.
Highly anticipated since its announcement, the drama brings together a first-rate cast with Ha Ji-won, Nana, Oh Jung-se and Cha Joo-young, and is already one of the most closely watched projects of the first half of the year.
Spring release finally confirmed
Scheduled on Genie TV and ENA, Climax has recently found its definitive place in the line-up. The series will take over from the drama « Honor " (Her Honour), led by Lee Na-young, which goes on air in early March. The first episode of Climax is scheduled for March 16.
For Ju Ji-hoon, it's a symbolic return. Climax marks her first television drama appearance since the end of Love on a Single Log Bridge in December 2024, more than a year after his last TV performance. This time, the actor slips into the shoes of a charismatic and ambitious prosecutor, promising a striking transformation and a new facet of his acting.
As the broadcast approaches, the team is working on final adjustments to enhance the dramatic impact of the first episodes. All indications are that Climax will be one of spring's major events for fans of dark, edgy political thrillers.
